Austin PARD
The Austin Parks and Recreation Department conducts
league softball program for over 900 teams, in multiple seasons,
covering about eleven (11) months yearly. League play
usually begins in mid February and is divided
into several "seasonal leagues" (spring, summer, fall and winter).
The primary softball program offered is adult slow pitch and
includes leagues for men, women and co-rec teams
in A, B, C, D. classifications. In addition the Austin PARD
also accepts youth team registrations for the ASA Junior
Olympic participation.
Teams may choose to participate in several tournaments
hosted by the Austin PARD that are sanctioned by
the ASA and TAAF organizations.
